What is JSON to CSV?

This converter takes an array of flat objects and produces CSV with one column per key. Columns are the union of keys across all objects, so rows missing a field get an empty cell. Values containing commas, quotes, or line breaks are quoted correctly.

Practical use cases

  • Export API records
  • Prepare spreadsheet imports

Common problems

  • Passing an object instead of an array
  • Expecting nested objects to flatten automatically
  • Using inconsistent keys between rows

Frequently asked questions

What happens to nested objects?

Nested objects and arrays are written as JSON text inside a single cell. Flatten them first if you need separate columns.

Is JSON to CSV Converter free to use?

Yes. JSON to CSV Converter is free and does not require an account.

Does my input leave the browser?
